Privacy notice
How Wealth AI Clash Ltd. collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information, and how you can exercise your rights over it.
1. Who this notice covers
This notice explains how Wealth AI Clash Ltd. ("Wealth AI Clash," "we," "us" or "our"), a company operating a training studio at 1002 Wharf Street, Suite 110, Victoria, BC V8W 1T4, Canada, handles personal information collected through wealthaiclash.life, our booking form, email correspondence and, where relevant, in-studio registration for workshop lanes. It applies to prospective learners, enrolled learners, corporate contacts and general visitors to this website.
We are guided by British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where applicable to our commercial activities, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Where the two frameworks differ, we generally apply whichever standard gives you stronger protection.
2. What personal information we collect
We try to collect the minimum information needed to run the workshop floor and respond to enquiries. Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details: your name, email address and, if provided, phone number.
- Enquiry and booking content: the lane, format or date you are interested in, and any message you choose to include, such as context about your finance-management goals.
- Session and attendance records: which lane, format and date you attended, and facilitator notes on artefact completion (for example, that a budgeting worksheet was submitted and reviewed).
- Payment-related details: billing name and payment confirmation reference, processed through a third-party payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
- Technical information: limited website analytics such as pages visited and general device type, collected only where you have accepted non-essential cookies through our cookie banner.
- Corporate contact details: if you enquire on behalf of an employer, the organisation name and your role, so we can scope a corporate on-site session.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal information (such as health information) through this website, and we ask that you avoid including such details in the free-text message field of our contact form.
3. How we collect information
Most information comes directly from you: when you submit the contact form, email us, call the studio, or register in person for a workshop lane. Limited technical information may be collected automatically through cookies once you have given consent via our cookie banner — see our separate cookie notice for the categories used and how to manage them.
4. Why we collect and use personal information
We use personal information for the following purposes, each tied to a legitimate business need or your consent:
- To respond to enquiries submitted through the contact form or by email or phone.
- To confirm, schedule and manage bookings for workshop lanes, formats and corporate sessions.
- To process payments and issue receipts for paid programmes.
- To maintain session records, including artefact review notes, so facilitators can track a learner's progress across lanes.
- To send confirmations, reminders and, where you have opted in, occasional updates about new lanes or schedule changes.
- To understand which pages and lanes are most useful, using aggregated, cookie-based analytics where you have consented.
- To meet legal, accounting and tax record-keeping obligations under Canadian and British Columbia law.
- To protect the studio, our learners and our systems from misuse, fraud or abuse of our booking form.
We rely on your consent for marketing-related communications and non-essential cookies, and on our legitimate business interests (and, for bookings, contractual necessity) for the operational uses listed above.
5. Consent and the contact form
Our contact form includes a specific PIPEDA/PIPA consent checkbox that is not pre-selected. You must actively check it to confirm you are comfortable with us storing and using the details you submit to respond to your enquiry. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected]; withdrawing consent may limit our ability to process an active booking.
6. Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited personal information with:
- Payment processors, to process fees for paid lanes and formats securely.
- Email and scheduling service providers, to send booking confirmations and reminders.
- Corporate contacts, only where you have enquired on behalf of an employer and only to the extent needed to coordinate a session.
- Professional advisors, such as our accountant, where necessary for bookkeeping and tax compliance.
- Regulators or authorities, where required by law, court order or lawful request.
Any third-party service provider handling personal information on our behalf is required to protect it to a standard consistent with this notice and applicable Canadian privacy law.
7. Where information is stored
Personal information is generally stored on servers operated by our hosting and email service providers, which may be located in Canada or in other jurisdictions such as the United States. Where information is processed outside Canada, it may become subject to the laws of that jurisdiction, including lawful access requests by foreign authorities. We take reasonable steps to select providers with appropriate security and privacy safeguards regardless of location.
8. How long we keep information
We keep booking and session records for as long as needed to deliver the relevant workshop lane and to meet our bookkeeping and tax obligations, generally up to seven years for financial records, in line with Canadian tax requirements. Contact-form enquiries that do not lead to a booking are generally retained for up to twenty-four months, after which they are deleted or anonymised, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
9. How we protect personal information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information involved, including access controls limiting who at the studio can view booking and session records, encrypted transmission for our contact form, and regular review of the third-party services we rely on. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against every possible incident, but we take data protection seriously as part of running a trustworthy studio.
10. Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy of it.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
- Withdraw consent for uses based on consent, such as marketing emails or non-essential cookies.
- Ask us to delete personal information we no longer need for the purposes described in this notice, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Complain about how we have handled your personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy request," or write to us at 1002 Wharf Street, Suite 110, Victoria, BC V8W 1T4, Canada. We aim to respond within thirty days.
11. Making a complaint
If you believe we have not handled your personal information appropriately, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly. You may also contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia, or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, if you feel your concern has not been addressed.
12. Children's privacy
Our workshop lanes and this website are directed at adults working in or around finance-adjacent roles. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and our booking form is not intended for use by anyone under the age of majority in British Columbia.
13. Cookies and similar technologies
This website uses a small number of cookies, described fully in our cookie notice, which also explains how to accept, reject or customise your preferences through the cookie banner that appears on your first visit.
14. Changes to this notice
We may update this privacy notice from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Material changes affecting how we use previously collected information will be communicated by email to learners with an active booking where reasonably practicable.
15. Contact us about privacy
